We're happy to announce that the CWUG third anniversary party and computer recycling drive was a grand success. As in 2004, this August CWUG teamed up with the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s
Assistive Technology Network program to collect used technology items for Illinois schools that serve children with disabilities.
In all, 29 donors provided 3.7 tons of electronics including more than 160 computers and assorted peripherals. Of special note were a set of P4 machines generously provided by Elkay Manufacturing. Thanks to everyone who participated in making CWUG's third anniversary a memorable one!
