Welcome to the CWUG portal—the interactive web space for the CWUG community powered by Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003, and created, hosted, and maintained by Friedrich, Klatt and Associates (FK&A), a CWUG Sponsor and Microsoft Partner.

We're excited about CWUG having its own portal and look to members to help make it a vital source for information, entertainment, and assistance for all. 

We are launching the portal in phases, starting with free accounts that let members add to various lists and areas and, as use expands, we'll enable special interest groups (SIGs) to create and run their own sub sites dedicated to clusters of you who want to delve into specific topics, run your own mini-meetings, and have a cyber corner of your own.  We appreciate your patience as we implement and test out new functionality.

When you get a portal account and log in you will see the additional members-only content areas.  The Forums area serves as a designated space for members to add content and interact, and you can also participate in the various discussion threads across the portal.

The success of the portal depends in great part on all of you! We need to know what you want and how best to facilitate your full participation. So please use the members discussion thread (requires login) to provide your input or email me .   As the portal editor I will coordinate portal maintenance, update content, and add Web Parts, features, and pages as requested by the Steering Committee and membership. If there's something you'd like to see that you can't add or create yourself, or if something needs correcting, just let me know.
